• Assign associates tasks to complete warehouse functions such as: receiving, replenishment, order-filling, shipping, quality audits.
• Plan work assignments and equipment allocation to meet production goals
• Motive employees
• Monitor pick rates and investigate areas and members that are not meeting targets
• Generate labels that are required to complete orders and for quality concerns
• Generate daily reports. Create reports as required.
• Schedule associates as necessary to complete work objectives.
• Create Prime locations, Support internal material transfers.
• Create Work Instructions as well as visual control documents.
• Utilize Lean Methodology to continually Improve operations
• Coach, train and develop department leads to effectively oversee the daily routines of their assigned team members.
• Partner with supervisors from other departments to leverage resources effectively
• Maintain the facility budget in close partnership with DC Ops Manger and DC Manager
• Ensure employees have the tools they need to perform tasks.
• Directly responsible for ensuring the health and safety of others within one’s own team or functional area. Responds to crisis situations where the health and safety of others may be at risk.
• Perform other duties as required
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience
• Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
• Experience working in a warehouse setting in various positions
