As an industry leader focused on driving growth and execution excellence, we are looking for a Maintenance Technicians for both our Afternoon (3PM – 11PM) and Night Shift (9PM – 7AM) to join our growing Maintenance team.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining operation efficiency of production equipment and general plant operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Resolve machine problems as they occur
  • Perform mechanical maintenance related to repairing heavy industrial equipment including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Perform Maintenance in accordance with company policy
  • Communicate with supervisors daily on issues concerning the department
  • Create a team atmosphere
  • Conduct safety inspections, maintenance audits and training.
  • Assist in installation of new equipment
  • Responsible for entering work and part requests into computerized maintenance management system
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Blueprint reading
  • Electrical diagram knowledge
  • General mechanical knowledge including hydraulic, pneumatic systems.
  • Variable speed motor control installation and maintenance
  • Ability to solder, braze, rod weld or tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding
  • 1 year experience maintaining industrial machinery and controls
  • 1 year experience maybe from equivalent technical educational training in a relevant field
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical education training in industrial maintenance, electrical, welding, machine tool and/or HVAC systems.
